Kaoki on - Prenn Park in Dalat, what to see here? Let's analyze the park inside and out from the point of view of a tourist who is going to the city of Dalat in Vietnam. Photos of Prenn Park can also be seen in this article, for the future, if you decide to visit this town, be sure to stop by for a walk in the park.

What can you see in the park?

What to see in Prenn Park? A lot of things, I will tell you about all the main attractions point by point, if you suddenly have questions, ask and do not hesitate in the comments. First of all, you can see the Prenn waterfall in the park, then you can change into traditional Vietnamese costumes and arrange a photo session, you can ride elephants and buy real coffee made from marten droppings, and try it there.

Well, now I will list in order what you have to see in the park:

  • Elephants
  • Monkey
  • The Bears
  • Snakes
  • Ostriches
  • Prenn waterfall
  • Real traditional costumes
  • Cable car to the waterfall
  • Beautiful landscape with benches and lakes
  • Souvenir shops
  • Cafe where you can buy real Vietnamese coffee and taste

What it really is - Prenn Waterfall

For me personally, the waterfall left an indelible impression, well, I love it when tons of water fall, firstly it fascinates, and secondly, you relax your body and soul, just enjoying the beauty of nature. I recommend that you definitely go around the waterfall and under it, it feels like the entire sheer wall under the waterfall is about to fall.

Small zoo

The zoo is small, but the animals are beautiful here, although they look a little exhausted. What the most disgusting thing seemed to me near the zoo is a Vietnamese who actively campaigned to be photographed with his python for memory for 200,000 dongs, by the way, a successful businessman, while I was walking near the zoo (about 15 minutes), he managed to persuade 5 people to photograph.

The zoo here is not very big, you will see a peacock, a bear, monkeys of different breeds, dogs, and large crocodiles, unlike the crocodile farm in Nha Trang, deer, martens, and some other species of animals. Children will definitely like it here, it would be a great idea to feed the monkeys with bananas; you can buy bananas nearby.

Vietnamese coffee to try and buy here

If you haven't bought coffee in Vietnam yet, I recommend doing it here. Prices are much cheaper than in Nha Trang, besides, it is produced right here and in front of you. At the very top there is a cafe where they sell coffee, the cost of 1 kilogram is $ 75. Personally, I bought the 'Elephant' coffee, now I savor it every evening.

Tourists run here not only to buy coffee, but also to look at the marten, which constantly walks and begs for food, swallows bananas at once. But this is the ‘wrong marten’, the real ‘coffee bean processing plants’ sit in cages, and unlike the beggar marten, they are very skinny because they only eat coffee beans.

Souvenir shops for tourists

Souvenir shops sell ordinary and homemade souvenirs here, I did not find anything special, except for one amazing thing - an elephant hair ring. Many married couples buy this souvenir as a trust to each other, in addition, many say that the ring really affects the relationship, which becomes stronger if a guy and a girl wear rings together.

There is a belief that if you cheat on your other half, the ring on your finger begins to behave differently and vibration is felt, and the guide confirmed this phenomenon and urged to think seriously when buying two rings with elephant hair.

Ride elephants in Prenn Park

Any tourist can ride an elephant, the cost of the service is 300,000 VND for two for 15 minutes of elephant trekking. Everything is fine, only the path along which the elephants walk through a terrible one, there are times when it seems that the elephant will now turn over going down the hill. Here you can be photographed for an additional fee.

I forgot to add a little, here you can ride on ostriches, of course, it's not a long ride in autumn, but if you like to ride on ostriches, then 150,000 dongs for 5 seconds of drive and 30 meters of running are at your service.

Here it is, Park Prenn in Dalat, it seems that he told and showed everything he wanted and everything that you will see yourself if you go to Vietnam on vacation. By the way, if you don't know where to stay in Dalat, I recommend La Sapinette Hotel right in the city center. If you have something to tell about this place, then I think it will be useful for our readers to know your point of view left in the comments.
