All people have their own desires and goals that they want to fulfill on the trip. Some are trying to find a certain individuality, to gain clarity and understand a new culture, others - to temporarily escape from reality and the prevailing circumstances, others may leave in search of something new, classic, or just to have a fun weekend.

For experienced travelers, the choice between traveling with friends and traveling alone is obvious, for others it does not make much difference, but for many people with little experience, the question may seem difficult.

Below are the main pros and cons of traveling as a group or traveling alone to make it easier for you to decide when planning your trip.

Are you going alone?

Pros:

1. You are forced to make decisions and always think about yourself, solve emerging problems, react correctly to peculiar and unexpected situations. Good practice for understanding life.

2. Organize the plan and routes yourself, move in the direction you want.

3. You learn a lot by being on your own. On the first trip, which I made 3 years ago, I re-experienced what seemed to be familiar feelings. This is how such trips are remembered.

4. You can experience the true impression of a new place where only strangers will surround you.

Minuses:

1. You need to take the issue of security much more seriously

2. It is more difficult to solve financial difficulties

3. There is no one who can apply sunscreen on your back =)

4. In difficult situations, you will not have a friend who can help. And such situations arise quite often.

Do you want to go with a big company?

Pros:

1. You will not be bored, as there are always friends who will not let you sit still.

2. You will make new friends or strengthen existing friendships

3. Travel in a group is often much cheaper: in many places there are group discounts on entertainment, accommodation, transport tickets.

4. It is interesting to see your friends from a new perspective.

Minuses:

1. You can often argue, disagree on where to go and what to do. It all kills time and spoils the mood.

2. The opinion of the crowd can often change the way you travel.

3. Plans are becoming less flexible. The larger the group, the more difficult it is to change your schedule.

You may have different travel styles and often have to adapt to the wishes of the majority.
