How I got to Mount Fuji and other Japanese landmarks

Our trip to Japan began with an acquaintance with the city of Tokyo and the period of cherry blossoms, as we have already written about this in our article about acquaintance with Japan. In this article we will tell you about the vivid impressions of the sights and Mount Fujiyama.

The sights of Japan were not the most significant goal for visiting the land of the rising sun, the most important thing for which we wanted to see all this with our own eyes is the traditions and customs of the people of Japan. When you watch the news, and there they say that the Japanese have invented another breakthrough in technology, then you involuntarily begin to respect this people, one of the reasons for visiting Japan was - the customs, traditions, respect, the way of life of the Japanese.

In the background, of course, were the sights of Japan without which no trip of the travel-picture.ru team can do. One of these attractions was mount fujiyama, an unforgettable sight as you stand at the foot of the mountain and watch as the huge rock reaches the clouds.

Near Mount Fujiyama, there are holiday homes owned by large Japanese corporations. This landmark of Japan is probably the most important vacation spot in the life of the Japanese for employees of such corporations. Moreover, it is worth noting that not only employees, but also their families, as well as tourists like us and everyone else, rest here.

Let's be honest, in Japan, vacation in corporations is much easier, here corporations really think about people and pay for such types of vacation in full for entire families of their employees, but to earn such a vacation you need to work hard.

Rest houses near Mount Fujiyama attract not only by the mountain itself, but also by their famous Japanese baths, as well as by the fact that hot mineral springs descend from the mountains of this landmark of Japan, moreover, directly to the rest houses.

These flowing waters run directly to the pools that are part of the Fujiyama bathhouse complex. It is worth talking about the impressions of the bath complex of the unforgettable Mount Fuji, when you sit down in the pool, you are given a small towel, which many Japanese and tourists put on their heads, dip in the water and wipe themselves off from above.

It is not recommended to sit in such a pool for more than 20 minutes, otherwise it will become ill with the heart. This happened with us once in the same pool with mineral springs in Turkey - the Cleopatra pool, then we decided to sit much more, as a result of which we hardly got to the tourist bus.

But back to the sights of Japan, namely Mount Fujiyama. For tourists, there is very good entertainment here, which the Japanese like to demonstrate, everyone here is very fond of this trick, and you have probably already heard about it.

So, for all tourists who visit the natural mineral springs of Mount Fujiyama, the trick with eggs is very popular, you already guessed what they do with them? Ordinary white chicken eggs in an iron basket are laid in hot springs, and they are taken out completely black. According to legend, as the guide told us, one such eaten black egg prolongs life by several years.

Only the shell turns black from hot sulphurous waters, inside the egg remains an ordinary boiled egg, as if you boiled it at home.

Let's be honest, this trick is very popular with tourists and there is a huge queue for black eggs, we managed to try such an egg, we hope that we will be able to live for a few more years ...

After a bath at the foot of Mount Fujiyama, this amazing sight of Japan, we were waiting for us to taste several dishes of Japanese cuisine. Traditional Japanese cuisine is served and served here according to the country's ancient Japanese traditions.

We sat on the floor on mats at low, wide tables. Let's be honest, for us personally, as well as for half of the tourists from other countries of the world, such an arrangement at the table seemed not only familiar, but also not comfortable, there is practically nowhere to place your legs. But this flaw is hidden by the Japanese table setting, when you see the real traditional Japanese table setting, it is very beautiful.

From this holiday home at the foot of Mount Fujiyama, we had another excursion organized. To get to our destination, we had a very steep uphill climb by train. The train itself, due to such a rise, has curved floors and it moves on a cable.

There are only two such trains on the entire Mount Fujiyama, and both go up and down in parallel. After the ascent, a road deep down on a cable car awaited us. After all these road adventures, the most beautiful observation deck of this amazing sight of Japan appeared before us.

It is worth noting with the weather we were not lucky, it was cloudy and foggy, but in good weather, Mount Fujiyama is clearly visible. The Japanese believe that if you saw a mountain in good weather, then this is good and to incredible luck and happiness.

After the observation deck, we went back, where on the road back we saw a large alpine lake, along which stylized tourist ships with pirates sail. Not missing such an opportunity, we nevertheless swam across the lake on a ship.

By the way, our entire three-day trip to the sights of Japan, one of which is Mount Fujiyama, took one tourist ticket.
